Energy-Efficiency Tax Credit
Save energy, save money!
In February of 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which expands tax credits for homeowners who purchase certain energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment. These tax credits, totaling up to $1,500, are available on qualifying equipment purchased and installed between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010.
Tax breaks bring big savings on high-efficiency products
As a four-time winner of the ENERGY STAR® Manufacturing Partner of the Year award—and the first and only winner in the heating and cooling industry—Lennox offers a complete selection of high-efficiency home comfort systems that qualify for tax credits by meeting the minimum energy-efficiency ratings stipulated in the government’s economic stimulus bill.
Replacing your home's heating and air conditioning system is a major decision. You have to think more than just about the initial purchase price and factor in how much your system is going to cost to operate and maintain year in and year out.Remember that the higher the efficiency rating, the greater the energy savings. The right system can give you better comfort at reduced operating costs.
